How Do I Configure Six Servers Into a Cluster to Run in Parallel?

I have installed CentOS onto the servers and they are all connected to a switch but I do not know how to configure them to work as a cluster.

You need clustering software, specific for the OS you are running. If CentOS has such software, look into it. Otherwise, you may be out of luck…

If only it was that simple. Clustering needs support as far as the very applications you are using – it isn’t simply a matter is tweaking so-and-so a setting in your operating system configuration. How you arrange your app to be clustered depends on the app in question – you should check the documentation which should go into detail, assuming it supports distributed operation at all of course.
