Servers are perhaps the most boring type of computer; servers are only really relevant to IT professionals. Wrong!! Servers touch our lives every single day, and often in ways were not even aware of. They are used to make many of the movies we love, they power the social networking sites that bring us together, and they make our cars cheaper and safer. Find out how in this fun look at why servers rock.

this was about mikeccuk2006′s comment about the 4320Gflop gpu which i thought was much
@uut0 amd has a petaflop server
aaaah my eye!!! binary is sooo gaaaaaaaay i go i.t class on it anbd i hate it sooo much… those annoyin ass 1′s and 0′s -.-
@rysliv i can see why they need that much i just thought 4320gflop was a lot
@uut0 if you were to want a super hd render of some type of product or scientific thing you would need it. cause a computer processor is not fast enough even though its not really 4320gflops its just overall performance. my pc is 8gflops performance quad core.
but each core is 2.66ghz
understand now?
@mikeccuk2006 its about 2tflop performance each 1u tesla from nvidia but they are only made to do graphic processing mostly i dont know about mathmatical processing like intel core i7 or other real cpu’s
isnt 4320 gigaflop a bit too much?
in the future probably use GPGpu processor technology from nvidia. with just 1U configuration is 4320 gigaflop!
Then you are watching the wrong video.
i dont get any of this shit
doesnt take 16 hours… it takes 4 now… why they have a ton of severs doing the job all at once.. the thing is how much of a image they need in 3d..
I think you ROCK! Auntie J. x
I bet he would like to get in side her deep inside her OOOOOOOOOOOOOO yes
i thought this guy was goign to talk about something interesting like the actual specs of the server and actually compare the kind of power it has vs a home computer.
Two thumbs up for this video.
Awesome video!
